Byron is also survived by two sisters, Marilyn Meyer of Sioux, SD and Marlys (Gene) Nelson of Stillwater, MN.Byron was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.Chad attended school in Nashua, Fort Peck, and Glasgow; ending back in Nashua for his high school years.He left school before graduating to move to Idaho to stay with his father.A Funeral service will be p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Bell Mortuary, with Pastor Bonnie Novak officiating.
Fifteen Grandchildren, Jeffrey (Monika) ODell, John Goleski, Nicole Goleski, Matthew (Kate) Goldberg, Allison Goldberg, Shelley Goldberg, Emilie (Brian) Mc Donald, Craig (Erica) Lindsay, Nicholas Harter, D. Harter, Tyler Lindsay, Mia Lindsay, Maddox Lindsay, Lily Lindsay, and Violet Lindsay; and four great-grandchildren, Marie Sapp, Raina Mc Donald, Kaiden Mc Donald and Charles Goldberg.
He had a seamless rain gutter business in Spokane with his brother, Dwayne for several years.
He left Spokane and took up trucking out of Great Falls and was able to see much of the United States.
Private family burial will follow in the Nashua Cemetery. Byron was the sixth of seven children, born in Wheaton, MN on January 11, 1930 to Math and Blanche (Sauby) Lindsay.
He grew up on the family farm in Rosholt SD and graduated from Sisseton High School in 1947. On June 24, 1955 Byron married Elinor Tyte at the First United Methodist Church in Riverhead, NY.
